Free meet and greet at Fiumicino/Ciampino Airport or Rome. The tour begins with the visit of Basilica of Saint Paul, one of the four papal basilicas in Rome, built on the site that tradition indicates as that of the burial of the Apostle Paul. The tour will continue at the Roman Forum (outside) where you can admire the incredible charm of the Vespasian Temple, the Severus Arch and the Temple of Saturn and Coliseum (outside). After we will arrive at Venice Square with the imposing Milite Ignoto, and the Trevi Fountain, designed by Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini.
Afterwards we will visit the Pantheon, which represents a cult building dedicated to all the gods, and the famous Spanish Steps. We will continue to Navona Square, a very important square in Rome where you can admire, in all its beauty, the Fountain of the Four Rivers designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
The tour ends with the visit of St. Peter's Square, expression of Baroque architecture and where millions of faithful gather each year, and of St. Peter's Basilica, whose construction began in 1506 with Pope Julius and ended in 1626 during the pontificate of Pope Urban VIII. Here you can visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel too (for these two you must buy online Skip the Line tickets. If interested, please advise us in advance).
