Lake Bracciano:Lake Bracciano is a volcanic lake located north of the province of Rome. There are three towns located on the banks of the lake, Bracciano, on the west side, Anguillara on the southeastern side and Trevignano on the northern side. Lake Bracciano is a popular resort and beach town and in 1999 the area was declared a regional park. The Orsini-Odescalchi castle is the most noteworthy monument in the town of Bracciano. It was built in the fifteenth century and consists of three exterior walls of a pentagonal shape. The Castle has five towers , one for each vertex of the outer fortification. It is currently owned by the Odescalchi family who bought the lordship of Bracciano in the late seventeenth century from the Orsini family. The castle is now the site of receptions and also houses a museum open to the public since 1952.

Ceri: The town of Ceri is a medieval village located in the province of Rome. The village is situated on a plateau of tuff at a short distance from Cerveteri , where once the inhabitants of Cerveteri considering the place better defended moved there. The castle which still towers over the village was built in 1236 for safety reasons. In the main square of the village is the church of Our Lady of Ceri where in 1980 during a restoration frescoes of the Roman school dating back to the twelfth century were found depicting scenes dating back to the old testament. Worth noting are the famous castle gardens that have kept the original nineteenth-century design made up of dirt paths and flower beds. Today it is made up of grass beds bounded by walls of tufa and borders of Florentine iris mixed with Germanic iris where white is the predominant color.
